If you are still reading this, I am surprised! I haven't updated this in forever! (Sorry about that) I have decided to stop posting on this blog. But you can still keep up with us. I created a shutterfly share page which I post pictures, videos, and updates. If you want to follow us on there send me an email and I can get you the password to our site. Our page is http://hechts.shutterfly.com. You will need our password to access it though. Thanks for caring about us!

Mother's Day

I couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day. My hubby thoughtfully designed a customized necklace for me (with a little hint of a suggestion and page bookmark). He chose the necklace and customizing himself.

We also had Addison's dedication at church with family and friends there supporting us.
Addison even snuggled with me (which NEVER happens since she is always on the go) and we took a nap together. It was a wonderful first Mother's Day. I am truly blessed!

Mother Moment

Sorry it has been so long since our last post (a 10 month old keeps me quite busy these days). With Mother's Day almost here I have a recent funny moment to share. You know you're a Mom when... you go to take a shower and find the missing puzzle piece hidden in your shirt. Who would have thought to look there? LOL :)

It's hard to believe Addison wasn't even here last Mother's Day. She is such a blessing and joy each and every day! Happy Mother's Day everyone!

Look what we're into now!

It's never a good thing when my child is quiet. I went looking for her and here is the mischief she is up too now.

Big Trouble

Well today I have to borrow an idea from my friend Jen P. On her blog she posts "Not Me Mondays" and tells some pretty funny things that happen to her. So here goes mine for today.

I did not leave my ornery 8 month old daughter alone for a minute to check my email only to go back in and find her cover in water and eating cat food. She had not spilled the water all over the floor and she definitely did not have a few pieces of tasty cat food in her mouth only moments after I posted that today was going to be a good day on my Facebook status. No, that would not happen to me because I am a responsible parent and would never leave my child unattended!
And I certainly would not let her continue so I could document the event with pictures. No, Not Me!
Here is the evidence to prove it:

Big Trouble
(And for the record she is not crying because she got caught or in trouble; she is mad that I took the cat food out of her mouth.)
