You know you're a parent when...
When Andy and I first became parents we started fun little sayings when we found ourselves doing silly things. So we say "You know you're a parent when..." I thought it would be fun to hear what others have done and to keep it going. For example some of our past sayings:
You know you're a parent when:
~you open the microwave the next morning to find your uneaten dinner (newborn stage)
~you carry around baby toys in your pocket
~you learn wrestling holds in order to change a diaper of a wiggly seven month old
~you think of new inventions for baby products like wheels on car seat carriers and burp rags with clips for belt loops
These are just a few we have said in these first few months of parenthood. We will continue to update these. We want to hear your "You know you're a parent when..." moments!
